CX Max - Cutting the Air

The CX Max is a fully faired harness developed for competitions, long flights and world records. The SOL CX harness family has collected many titles and major world records since 2002.

Piloting Efficiency

It offers improved aerodynamics to help increase paraglider performance. Its ergonomic shape and geometry are based on modern paraglider projects, where the harness is a key element in piloting and performance.

Technical Features

• Large baggage pocket, identification compartment and hydration compartment.
• Hydration tube routing.
• Front instrument container and 10-litre ballast compartment with side hose outlet.
• Pod-closing pulley systems and composite seat board.
• Elastic cable for accelerator positioning and elastic system for easier pod entry.
• Composite pod-nose plate, two side pockets and 39 mm ball-bearing accelerator pulleys.
• Two connection points for medium or large pulleys.
• Lower 8-litre ballast compartment with side hose outlet.

• Right and left reserve compartments.
• Certified 14 cm back protector and anti-G compartment.
• Independent reserve-riser system according to EN/LTF standard.

Aerodynamics

The aerodynamic design is the central factor in high-performance harnesses. The CX Max uses a divided-cell aerodynamic cone with internal profiles, a profiled pod nose and integrated pod/container construction.

Available sizes: S, M, L and XL. Seat width ranges from 30 cm to 36 cm. Seat length ranges from 36 cm to 42 cm. Connection-point height ranges from 45 cm to 49 cm. Ventral distance: 38-55 cm. Right reserve compartment: 4000-9000 cm³. Left reserve compartment: 2500-4500 cm³. Upper ballast: 10 litres. Lower ballast: 8 litres. Baggage capacity: 31 litres. Harness weight: 7.5 kg to 8.7 kg. Maximum pilot weight: 120 kg. Certification: LTF/EN.

Materials

Since 1991, SOL has produced and followed the evolution of materials and products. Our experience leads us to choose materials carefully, ensuring excellent durability and a high level of safety. All SOL harnesses are manufactured in SOL's own factory.

• Fabrics: Cordura, high-tenacity nylon and ripstop, according to model.
• Buckles and hardware: ISR-KS Dural Leg Buckle, ISR-KS Dural V Buckle, Nautos/Holt or equivalent SOL-selected hardware.
• Webbing: premium high-tenacity polyester or polyamide, 1200/1600 kgf depending on model.
• Finishes: Neoprene BR, YKK zip and selected composite parts where applicable.
